Laborsan Agro, a Brazilian company specializing in seed coating and agrochemical coloring technologies, is releasing its second Sustainability Report, covering the year 2025. The report highlights the company’s progress in climate management, expansion of its greenhouse gas emissions inventory, ecological restoration, ESG governance, and diversity.
Based on material topics aligned with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI)—an international benchmark for sustainability reporting—the report consolidates the organization’s indicators and initiatives across the environmental, social, and governance pillars, thereby increasing transparency regarding its operations.
The publication presents the company’s key results and initiatives in 2025, highlighting advances in climate monitoring, support for ecological restoration projects, the work of the Sustainability & ESG Committee, and alignment with global agendas, such as the Sustainable Development Goals.

Climate Management and Expansion of the Emissions Inventory
Among the highlights of the period is the completion of the third Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions inventory, which now includes a more comprehensive mapping of indirect emissions from the value chain, classified as Scope 3.
By expanding the scope of its analysis, the company now has a more comprehensive understanding of its carbon footprint, which helps it identify opportunities to reduce and mitigate emissions in its operations and throughout its supply chain.
Ecological Restoration and Sustainable Development
The report also highlights Laborsan Agro’s support for ecological restoration initiatives aimed at rehabilitating degraded areas within the Sustainable Development Reserve, linking the company’s activities to environmental conservation and local development.
This initiative is in line with the company's environmental strategy, particularly in supporting biodiversity conservation, the regeneration of degraded areas, and the strengthening of socio-environmental initiatives in the regions where it operates.
ESG Governance Integrated into Strategy
Another important point is the ongoing work of the Sustainability & ESG Committee, the body responsible for monitoring indicators, supporting the development of initiatives, and integrating environmental, social, and governance issues into the company’s strategy.
The committee's work strengthens sustainability governance by linking data, corporate planning, and decision-making.
Diversity and Women's Participation
Diversity is also reflected in the composition of the Sustainability & ESG Committee: 50% of its members are women. This metric underscores the presence of women in strategic decision-making roles and aligns with the company’s agenda aimed at creating more inclusive environments.
Alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals
The findings presented in the report are also linked to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 15 (Life on Land), SDG 13 (Climate Action), and SDG 5 (Gender Equality).
This partnership reinforces the company's alignment with global agendas related to environmental conservation, climate action, and gender equality.
“The release of our second Sustainability Report shows that we are treating the ESG agenda as part of our business management, rather than as a standalone initiative. In 2025, we made progress in monitoring emissions, broadened our focus to the value chain, and continued to support environmental projects linked to the sector’s challenges. This effort reflects our commitment to operating in an increasingly transparent, responsible, and future-ready manner in the agricultural sector,” says Francisco Albuquerque, CEO of Laborsan Agro.
